Use of services and produts provided by Impress Lab and of this site, http://www.impresslab.com/ (”Site”), are protected under the Terms outlined here. Please read the Terms and Conditions to better understand our relationship with the client company. I. Service-Specific Terms
Impress Lab follows a rigorous process to create industry-leading designs for clients. Our design services adhere to the specific Terms and Conditions highlighted in this section. Please read the terms for the services you are requesting.
A. Web Development
Web development projects pertain to:
- WordPress Content Management System
- Static Website Design
- Web Programming (including Design Coding)
1. Contracting Work
The client is requested to promptly provide responses to any questions asked by the Design Representative or Impress Lab concerning the client’s wishes for the web project. A timely response is need to finish the project within the time limit described in Section III: Payment and Rights. Please note that failure to interact fully with your Design Representative may result in cancellation of the project.
2. Proofing
Impress Lab makes every effort to ensure the final product is free of any grammatical and spelling errors before giving the final product to the client. It is agreed that it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that there are no spelling or grammatical errors contained in the final product.
3. Final Files
All final files (including, but not limited to, source graphic files, HTML pages, etc.) will be emailed to the client upon project completion and final payment. A valid and working email address is required.
B. Identity Design
1. Contracting Work
The client is responsible to provide as much detail about the organization by answering questions asked by the Design Representative fully and faithfully. Impress Lab is not responsible for misunderstandings or failure to provide such detail about the client organization.
2. Proofing
Impress Lab makes every effort to ensure the final product is free of any grammatical and spelling errors before giving the final product to the client. It is agreed that it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that there are no spelling or grammatical errors contained in the final product.
3. Final Files
All final files (including, but not limited to, source graphic files, JPEG images, GIF images, PNG images, etc.) will be emailed to the client upon project completion and final payment. A valid and working email address is required.
C. Print Design
All print design services only include the actually designing. The client is responsible for the actual printing at a print specialist shop (please contact your Design Representative for assistance). Print design projects pertain to the following project types
1. Business Card Design
The business card design includes the cards designed in either Adobe Photoshop, meaning that the client will need this software to make additional cards for future employees. Our designers can also port this design into Microsoft Word to allow additional cards for future employees through this software. Impress Lab makes every effort to ensure the final product is free of any grammatical and spelling errors before giving the final product to the client. It is agreed that it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that there are no spelling or grammatical errors contained in the final product. All final files (including, but not limited to, source graphic files, JPEG images, etc.) will be emailed to the client upon project completion and final payment. A valid and working email address is required.
2. Event Flyer
Impress Lab makes every effort to provide your design flyers in a timely manner as long as the client provides the necessary text and images quickly. Impress Lab makes every effort to ensure the final product is free of any grammatical and spelling errors before giving the final product to the client. It is agreed that it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that there are no spelling or grammatical errors contained in the final product. All final files (including, but not limited to, source graphic files, JPEG images, etc.) will be emailed to the client upon project completion and final payment. A valid and working email address is required.
3. Stationary & Letterhead
Impress Lab makes every effort to provide your design letterhead in a timely manner as long as the client provides the necessary text and images quickly. Impress Lab makes every effort to ensure the final product is free of any grammatical and spelling errors before giving the final product to the client. It is agreed that it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that there are no spelling or grammatical errors contained in the final product. All final files (including, but not limited to, source graphic files, JPEG images, Microsoft Word template, etc.) will be emailed to the client upon project completion and final payment. A valid and working email address is required.
4. Posters & Banners
Impress Lab makes every effort to provide your design posters in a timely manner as long as the client provides the necessary text and images quickly. Impress Lab makes every effort to ensure the final product is free of any grammatical and spelling errors before giving the final product to the client. It is agreed that it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that there are no spelling or grammatical errors contained in the final product. All final files (including, but not limited to, source graphic files, high-resolution JPEG images, Microsoft Word template, etc.) will be emailed to the client upon project completion and final payment. A valid and working email address is required.
II. Services Guarantee
The information contained in this section pertain to all our services and products. All Impress Lab services (i.e. web design, logo creation, etc) are 100% guaranteed. If you are unsatisfied, for any reason, please contact us and provide as much detail as possible. You will never be charged for services that you either:
- did not receive
- were not satisfied completely
We will continue to work with until you are satisfied - please note that you will never be charged for a service until you are satisfied with the site or design. Our goal is your complete satisfaction.
III. Payment and Rights
1. Down Payment
After agreeing to our terms and requesting a free quote, we will need a 50% down payment of the agreed upon total price. This payment is not refundable. Only after we receive the 50% down payment through PayPal and enough information (such as text and pictures for your company) can we start the design process.
2. Payment
We accept payments only through the online, secure PayPal money handling service. You do not need an account at PayPal to use this service. You will, however, need a credit card or check card to make your online PayPal payment. After we receive confirmation that the 50% payment has been sent will we begin the design process.
3. Time Limit
There is a maximum of three (3) months from the date of the 50% payment received date limit on our services. In this time, we need all text, pictures, etc. that you want on the site. If, after three months, the site is not complete, you will be billed for the remaining 50% payment and sent the incomplete files.
4. Ownership and Legal Responsibility
You/your company is the sole owner of the website and website design after completion of the project. You are allowed to take full charge (make changes, promote, claim responsibility, etc.) of the site after completion. Furthermore, you claim all ownership of any other designs created by Impress Lab. As such, you also consent to full liability for any actions in using designs created by Impress Lab. Impress Lab is in no way liable for any actions by the you, the client.
Designs, including website, identities and logos, and print material, depicted on Impress Lab online portfolios are the legal property of the client, protected under state, United States federal, and/or international intellectual property right laws. Violations, including but not limited to copying, distributing, and modify, said designs is protected under said intellectual property right laws. Please contact the appropriate client organization or individual with any questions.
